Acceptable Use Policy
Effective October 11, 2026 · Last updated October 11, 2026
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses Respark, including the people your account invites. It helps keep Respark trustworthy for businesses and the people they contact.
1. Only contact people who agreed
- Only email or text people who gave you permission to receive those messages from you, in the way the law requires (for marketing texts, prior express written consent).
- Never use purchased, rented, traded, shared, scraped, harvested, or “publicly available” lists, or lists from co-registration or partners, and never import contacts you don’t have permission to market to.
- Honor every unsubscribe and “STOP” request promptly, and don’t re-add people who opted out.
- Include your real business name and mailing address in marketing emails, and don’t use misleading sender names or subject lines.
- A past purchase does not, by itself, give you permission to send marketing texts.
2. No illegal, harmful, or deceptive use
- Nothing illegal, and nothing that helps others break the law.
- No fraud, scams, phishing, impersonating anyone, or collecting passwords or payment details under false pretenses.
- No false or misleading claims, fake reviews or testimonials, or invented results or statistics.
- No pyramid schemes, “get rich quick” offers, or deceptive multi-level marketing.
- No unlicensed gambling, lotteries, or sweepstakes that don’t follow the law.
- No selling or promoting illegal drugs, weapons or explosives where prohibited, counterfeit goods, or anything else illegal to sell where you or your customers are.
- No adult sexual content, content that sexualizes minors (zero tolerance; we report it), hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that promotes violence.
- No content that infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
3. No sensitive data and no children's data

- Don’t collect personal information from children under 13, and don’t target campaigns at children.
